Art Resources for Self-Study

This a small (and not in any way comprehensive) list of my favourite art resources for self-studying art. This list will grow over time, and I’ll update it as I find new resources, so please check back from time to time.

Teaching yourself a skill can be hard work, and art is no different. But it can also be so enjoyable. I hope you find some resources here that make your art goals a little closer to being real!

*Please note, some of these resources are ones I have used and appreciated, others have been recommended to me for this list. I don’t personally endorse any resource, and I’m not being paid to include any.

Last but not least, I’d be remiss not to mention my own contribution to this list. You can find my digital colour guide, Be Confident With Colour, on my Etsy!

I hope you find lots of inspiration and encouragement through these resources. Happy painting!
